From Mick Jagger to Diane von Furstenberg, Andy Warhol captured stars at their best in the best way he could: through the lenses of his cameras.
On February 11th at Privatus Gallery in Mayfair, a display of never publicly seen photos will be on display. From candid’s of Elizabeth Taylor to photobooth strips of faces of the 80′s, the collection – which was donated by art collector James Hedges – promises to be one of Andy’s best work.
Many of the pictures, donated by art collector James Hedges, have never been seen by the public since leaving Warhol’s studio. The showcase will feature still-life shots, travel photography and photobooth strips, in addition to candid and witty images of stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, Mick Jagger and David Hockney.
Andy Warhol Photography opens at Privatus from February 11 until March 1. Viewing by appointment only.
